Summary: To care for and show concern about the physical and mental health of female employees, help them relieve stress from both
To care for and show concern for the physical and mental health of female employees, help them relieve stress from both their personal lives and work, and enable them to engage in the economic transformation and reform development of the Forestry Bureau with a healthy and positive mindset, on the morning of June 21, the Forestry Bureau’s trade union specially invited Teacher Wu Xukun, a member of the expert team from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ Public Welfare Lecture Series on Women’s Health Knowledge, to deliver a lecture.
Teacher Wu has been engaged in clinical practice and teaching for over four decades, possessing a profound theoretical foundation in medicine and extensive knowledge of health and wellness. She has delivered more than 2,000 lectures on topics such as women’s health, mental health, and the prevention of “two cancers” in over 20 provinces and cities including Shaanxi, Henan, Shanghai, and Jiangsu. Her lectures are highly practical and easy to understand, earning enthusiastic acclaim from female employees as well as recognition and appreciation from trade unions at all levels. During her lectures, drawing on her many years of medical experience, Teacher Wu uses compelling language and vivid, engaging PowerPoint presentations—richly illustrated with both text and images—to explain in a clear and accessible manner how female employees can prevent and treat common diseases, effectively manage psychological issues, and smoothly navigate menopause. At the end of each lecture, Teacher Wu interacted directly with the female employees present, patiently and meticulously answering their questions.
The annual lecture on women employees’ physical and mental health is a major initiative undertaken by the Forestry Union and the Forestry Bureau’s union to promote health awareness among female employees, encourage healthy lifestyles, and enhance their understanding of disease prevention and treatment. It is also a significant practical measure organized by women employees’ groups for the benefit of female workers themselves. Over the years, this activity has earned widespread praise and recognition from all female employees across the bureau. Moving forward, we will continue to carry out this initiative, safeguarding the physical and mental well-being of female employees and enabling them to continue playing their vital “half-the-sky” role in the forestry sector’s reform.
