On the morning of November 3, the trade union of Yichun Power Supply Company held a knowledge lecture on “Safeguarding the Health Rights and Interests of Female Employees,” aimed at caring for female employees’ health rights and interests, promoting awareness of women’s reproductive health, enhancing female employees’ self-care consciousness, and encouraging them to work healthily and live happily.
For this lecture, the provincial company’s trade union specially invited Professor Qi Yanling, a female health expert specially appointed by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, to deliver the presentation. Drawing on her more than 30 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Professor Qi provided a clear and insightful explanation from a medical perspective, using both text and illustrations. She gave a detailed introduction and instruction on topics such as reproductive health, the physiological characteristics of women, prevention of common diseases, and health-care knowledge, enabling female employees to gain a fresh understanding and awareness of women’s health issues. The lecture helped female employees develop scientific lifestyles and healthy life philosophies, guiding and inspiring them to skillfully adjust themselves and manage their emotions when facing pressures related to their physical, psychological, personal, and professional lives—thus enabling them to maintain a healthy mindset and an optimistic spirit to achieve new accomplishments and build new lives. Her explanations were easy to understand and delivered with warmth and enthusiasm; she patiently answered questions raised by the audience and provided effective guidance, earning widespread acclaim and positive feedback from the female employees.
This lecture was highly beneficial to the female employees in attendance, resolving some long-standing doubts they had and introducing them to gynecological health knowledge they’d never known before. It helped them understand how to become healthy, happy, and confident women.
