To promote the implementation of the "Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees" and further enhance female employees' awareness of self-care, as well as to popularize knowledge about women's reproductive health and wellness, the company held the 2016 Annual Health Education Lecture for Female Employees on November 9. The lecture specially invited Qi Yanling, a specially appointed expert from the Chinese Trade Union Federation’s Expert Panel on Women’s Health Education, as the lecturer. A total of 50 female employees from various sub-union branches across the company attended the lecture.
This lecture featured richly illustrated content covering the prevention, etiology diagnosis, and treatment of “two cancers.” Vivid case studies and humorous, engaging language made for an exceptionally enlightening presentation for female employees. The lecture also addressed how to enhance women’s mental health, analyzed the work stress and family responsibilities faced by modern professional women, and provided insightful guidance on managing marital and family relationships. Through detailed analysis of various cases, the lecture clearly and comprehensively educated female employees about women’s reproductive health. The lecture was highly praised by all female participants for its rich and informative content. After the lecture concluded, the speaker offered free health consultations to the female employees.
By organizing this event, the company has created a platform for female employees to learn about reproductive health knowledge. This reflects the provincial company’s care and concern for all female employees, enhances their awareness of self-protection, and plays a positive role in promoting their physical and mental well-being.
