To enhance the physical and mental health of female employees, help them develop a scientific understanding of disease prevention, gain knowledge about the prevention and treatment of common and frequently occurring women’s diseases, improve their overall health level, and create a happy and fulfilling life, at 9:30 a.m. on August 23, with strong support from the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the District Federation of Trade Unions organized a health education lecture for female employees. The lecture featured Ms. Qi Yanling, a gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in clinical teaching in obstetrics and gynecology, who is also a specially appointed expert from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ Women’s Health Knowledge Lecture Group and boasts profound theoretical expertise and extensive clinical experience. The lecture was held in the first-floor conference room of Haitang District, and was attended by female employees from various bureaus and offices in Haitang District as well as women representatives from village (community) committees.

In this health education lecture, we used illustrations, text, and real-life case studies to focus on providing information about the prevention of “two cancers” among female employees, as well as the prevention and treatment of common and frequently occurring gynecological diseases. We also offered advice to female employees on dietary habits and lifestyle choices, helping them gain a deeper understanding of women’s health issues.

Holding health education lectures for female employees is both a demonstration of care and concern for their physical and mental well-being, as well as a practical response to their need for healthy living and joyful work. Through these lectures, female employees have enhanced their awareness of self-care in daily life, enabling them to prevent problems before they arise, improve their overall health, and thus devote themselves to their work with greater enthusiasm.
