Notice on Conducting Health and Wellness Education Lectures for Female Employees
Women’s Committees of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government; the All-China Federation of Railway Trade Unions, the China Civil Aviation Trade Union, and the Women’s Committees of the China Financial Trade Union; the Federation of Trade Unions of Organs Directly Under the CPC Central Committee and the Women’s Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions of Central State Organs:
Popularizing health and hygiene knowledge among female workers is an important component of their labor protection efforts. In recent years, women’s organizations within trade unions at all levels have carried out a series of health education initiatives for female workers through various channels and with the assistance of social forces, greatly helping female workers to understand and master knowledge about maternal and child health care and achieving remarkable results.
2012 The “Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees,” promulgated and implemented by the State Council this year (hereinafter referred to as the “Special Provisions”), are of great significance in strengthening labor protection for female employees and safeguarding their legitimate rights and special interests. To better implement the “Special Provisions” and carry out the work arrangements made at the Fifth Session of the Fifth Meeting of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ Committee for Female Employees, further integrate social resources, and boost enterprises’ enthusiasm for doing practical and meaningful things for female employees, and in conjunction with this year’s nationwide knowledge competition on the “Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees,” we propose inviting Shaanxi Wan’an Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to provide health education and training services for female employees. I. Course Content
Prohibited Work Categories for Female Employees, “ Phase Four ” Health knowledge, “ Two cancers ” Preventive knowledge, prevention and treatment of common and frequently occurring gynecological diseases, and health and hygiene knowledge, etc.
II. Organizational Work
Each provincial trade union women’s committee is requested to organize health education sessions for female workers based on local conditions and needs. Shaanxi Wan’an Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has dispatched experienced gynecological specialists to provide free training sessions for grassroots trade unions and female workers.
III. Specific Requirements
