Public Lecture on Health Knowledge: Caring for the Health of Female Teachers

Following the free health check-up event for female faculty members held on March 25, our school once again hosted a public lecture on women’s health knowledge on March 28, organized by the Songyuan City Federation of Trade Unions and the Education Bureau’s trade union. This lecture enabled a wide range of female teachers to gain a deeper understanding of scientific lifestyle hygiene and health-care knowledge specific to women, thereby enhancing their awareness of self-care and enabling them to lead better lives and perform their work more effectively.
The lecture featured Professor Zhang Cairan, an expert from the Public Welfare Lecture Group on Women’s Health Knowledge of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, who was invited to deliver the session. Professor Zhang Cairan has been engaged in clinical practice and teaching for over thirty years, possessing a profound theoretical foundation in medicine and extensive clinical experience. She has unique insights into women’s reproductive health and the prevention of the two major cancers, and has repeatedly been honored with the title of “Top Ten Medical Workers” by the Hebei Provincial Women’s Federation.
Her humorous and engaging teaching style, along with her clear and accessible science explanations, have been widely recognized and praised by the female faculty members of our university. The lecture held that day was extremely popular and achieved excellent results.
